Purpose: optimized use of piercing techniques
 
           Following concepts will be discussed:

1. why piercing?
2. advantages and disadvantages of piercing
3. various piercing modes
4. relation piercing time / frequency / pause
5. relation piercing / speed
6. use of various sorts of material

Target group: machine programmers
           Our advice is to gather experience with machine operation before to program, to get some insight in the cutting process this way
 
Conditions: knowledge of CNC laser cutting and CNC controls

Duration: 1 day

Maximum number of participants: 3-4

The gained knowledge has to be put into practice. After this the participants will be tested on their gained knowledge. If this course has been finished successfully, the participants will receive the certificate “Piercing Course”.

1. training room, possibly with beamer
2. all manuals
3. availability machine
